SUDOSCAN Nerve Assessment
We Measure Nerve Function—Not Just Symptoms
SUDOSCAN is a quick, non-invasive assessment that provides objective information about nerve function. We consider the results alongside your health history and examination to better understand what may be affecting your nerves and guide your care plan.
What Makes Us Different
Most neuropathy care focuses only on symptoms. We combine objective nerve-function assessment with individualized, non-drug therapies available in our Lady Lake office—and, when appropriate, at home.
Assessment first. Then a plan built around you.

Physician-Assisted Home Therapy
Clinical-Strength Therapy—in Our Office and at Home
Our office offers Hako-Med ProElecDT 2000 therapy. For appropriately selected patients, the Hako-Med ProElecDT Regenerator provides physician-assisted home therapy—either as part of a personalized care plan or for ongoing maintenance after completing our program.
How We Evaluate Your Nerve Health
Before recommending a treatment plan, we first want to understand your symptoms, your nerve function, and the factors that may be affecting your overall health.
01
Understand Your Symptoms
We begin by listening to your history and understanding the symptoms that brought you to our office—including numbness, tingling, burning, nerve pain, weakness, or balance problems.
02
Assess Nerve Function
We use SUDOSCAN as a non-invasive assessment of small nerve fiber function and sweat gland function. The results can provide objective information about nerve function and establish a baseline for monitoring changes over time.
03
Look at the Bigger Picture
We consider your health history, symptoms, assessment results, and relevant functional-medicine information to identify factors that may be affecting your nerve health. This information helps guide an individualized approach to care.
Your Assessment Is the Starting Point
We don’t assume that every patient with peripheral neuropathy has the same needs. Your evaluation helps us determine which therapies and treatment approach may be appropriate for you.
01
Review Your Results
We review your symptoms, examination findings, SUDOSCAN results, and relevant health information with you. This helps clarify what may be affecting your nerve health and which areas need attention.
03
Begin In-Office or Home Therapy
Your plan is built around your specific needs and may include clinical-strength therapies like PEMF, Hako-Med Horizontal Therapy, vibration, and nutritional support.
From Assessment To Personalized Care
Once we understand what may be affecting your nerve health, we build a care plan around your individual findings and goals.
02
Build Your Personalized Care Plan
Based on your individual findings and goals, we recommend a personalized combination of therapies designed to support nerve function, circulation, balance, and overall health.
04
Monitor and Adjust Your Care
Care doesn't follow a fixed protocol. We monitor your response through objective measurements and symptom tracking, adjusting your care plan as appropriate to support your goals.
Our Therapies
Personalized therapies designed to support nerve health and complement your individual care plan.
There is no single therapy that is right for every person with peripheral neuropathy. Based on your evaluation and individual needs, we may use one or more of these therapies as part of your overall approach to care.
PEMF THERAPY
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) uses pulsed electromagnetic fields as part of our approach to supporting nerve and cellular function. We use individualized protocols based on the patient's needs.
HAKO-MED THERAPY
Hako-Med therapy uses electrotherapeutic signals as part of our approach to supporting nerve function and circulation. Treatment settings are individualized based on the patient's needs.
VIBRATION THERAPY
Vibration therapy provides mechanical stimulation that we use as part of our approach to supporting circulation, sensory input, and physical function.
NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT
Nerve health can be influenced by nutritional and metabolic factors. When appropriate, we use functional-medicine principles and targeted nutritional support as part of a comprehensive approach to nerve health.
Two Ways to Receive Care
90-Day Peripheral Neuropathy Program
A comprehensive, physician-guided program delivered in our clinic.
The program may combine:
• Functional medicine evaluation
• SUDOSCAN nerve assessment
• PEMF therapy
• Hako-Med ProElec DT 2000 therapy
• Vibration therapy
• Nutritional support
The therapies are individualized based on each patient's needs.
Choose the approach that best fits your needs, goals, and lifestyle.
Physician-Assisted Home Therapy
Continue your Hako-Med therapy at home using the Hako-Med ProElec DT Regenerator.
The Regenerator is not a lower-powered version of the ProElec DT 2000. It provides the same clinical-strength Hako-Med therapy in a home-use device.
For appropriate patients, we provide training and physician-assisted guidance so they can incorporate home therapy into their overall approach to nerve health.

When I came in my ankles were swollen twice their size. The pain in my feet up to my legs was so bad I had to sleep with a pillow between my legs. That's gone now. I'm ready to go dancing.
